Susan Adams

Susan Adams is a United States Peace Corps Volunteer serving in rural Moldova. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. As a Prevention Specialist in the school social work field, Susan worked with adolescents targeting areas of depression, self-mutilating behaviors, physical, emotional, and sexual trauma, substance abuse, anger management, and healthy relationship building.  Susan also has training in crisis counseling and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder working with veterans and victims of trauma. As a Peace Corps Volunteer Susan uses a holistic approach to facilitate health classes that incorporate all components of health. Susan is interested in macro social work, especially policy-making and program development.
